Terms of Service

1. What LocalLoop is

LocalLoop is designed as a marketplace for neighborhood passenger trips and local-store pickup deliveries. Drivers choose connected city sectors they will serve. When no eligible in-area driver is available or responding, the service may present a bounded outside-area rescue offer. That offer is labeled, shows extra pickup distance and pay, and requires the driver to opt in.

Review accounts, simulated fares, payment states, and earnings exist only in an isolated review tenant. They are evaluation records, not money, insurance, transportation authority, a guarantee of service, or a completed public launch.

2. Eligibility

Riders and customers must be at least 18 years old and able to form a contract. Before any live driving begins, drivers must be at least 21 or the higher age required by law, hold a valid license, satisfy required screening and authorization, operate a legally permitted vehicle, and maintain required insurance. A preconfigured review driver is not evidence that production screening has occurred.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and use only the role assigned to your session. You are responsible for activity under your login. Notify support@rvaiconsulting.com if you believe an account or reviewer token was exposed. Reviewer tokens are time limited, supplied privately, and may be revoked or replaced.

4. Requests and dispatch

A request is not assigned until one driver accepts it. Drivers may decline, and offers expire. The service prevents more than one driver from winning the same request. Outside-area rescue offers require deliberate acceptance after the additional distance, supplement, and reason are shown.

Rides use a four-digit pickup handshake. Do not share that code except with the person who should enter the vehicle. Store pickups use an item checklist, inventory confirmation, and customer-approved or declined substitutions before delivery.

5. Fares, fees, and taxes

Fare estimates identify the base, distance, any outside-area supplement, and other displayed amounts. The current model adds a customer-paid LocalLoop service fee equal to 12% of driver earnings. Driver earnings and LocalLoop revenue are separate amounts. Review amounts are simulated: no card is charged and no payout is sent.

Production payment, payout, refund, tax reporting, and withholding operations are not active. Drivers remain responsible for their tax obligations unless applicable law or a later published process states otherwise. If demand pricing is added, it must appear as a separate labeled fare line.

6. Cancellations

The app permits cancellation before a ride passenger is picked up or a delivery order is collected. After pickup or collection, the normal trip flow requires completion; use the safety controls when continuing would be unsafe. The review environment records cancellations but does not assess or collect a real cancellation fee. Any live cancellation, refund, or no-show policy must be published before public service begins.

7. Safety

If anyone is in immediate danger in the United States, call 911 first. A LocalLoop safety report creates a hosted record and reference number, but it does not contact emergency services or promise monitoring or a response time. Do not rely on the app as an emergency, dispatch, or roadside-assistance service. Weapons, impaired driving, assault, harassment, discrimination, trafficking, and off-app payment pressure are prohibited.

8. Independent contractors

A driver must also accept the Driver Independent Contractor Addendum presented in the app. Using LocalLoop does not by itself make a driver an employee, joint venturer, or agent of RVAi Consulting LLC. Production contractor, insurance, licensing, payment, and statutory requirements must be completed before live driving.

9. Prohibited uses

You may not scrape or reverse engineer the service; interfere with dispatch; create fake requests; spoof location; evade a handshake; discriminate in violation of law; use the app to commit a crime; or misrepresent identity, vehicle, or cargo.

10. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS.” WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED SERVICE, PERFECT ESTIMATED ARRIVAL TIMES, OR THAT A PARTICULAR DRIVER OR RIDER WILL BE AVAILABLE. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RVAi CONSULTING LLC DISCLAIMS IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RVAi CONSULTING LLC IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR PERSONAL INJURY ARISING FROM A TRIP BETWEEN USERS, EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT CAUSED BY OUR GROSS NEGLIGENCE OR WILLFUL MISCONDUCT OR WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT BE LIMITED. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE APP IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE APP IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS ($50).

12. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify RVAi Consulting LLC and its officers against claims arising from your trips, your vehicle, your cargo, your violation of law, or your breach of these Terms, except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.

13. Changes, privacy, and deletion

We may update these Terms. The version identifier is stored when you accept. Material changes may require a new in-app acceptance before you continue. The Privacy Policy describes Cloudflare processing and data categories. Eligible users can request Account deletion in the app; some pseudonymized records may remain when legally required.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Richmond, Virginia have exclusive venue, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
